We knew from health issues and articles that fibromyalgia is incurable. However, there are some things a patient can do to improve the condition or help regulate it. The three main categories to improving the condition are correct eating practices, staying active, and following the doctor’s advice.

  1. In general, any food that is good and healthy for the body is also good for the fibromyalgia patient as long as it can supply the balance of nutrient thes body needs. Any deficiency of nutrients like Vitamin B1 would trigger fibromyalgia.
  2. In reducing the symptoms of fibromyalgia, exercise is the best solution for the patient. Staying active will also ease the feeling of depression. It helps when the patient is participating to community activities.
  3. Along with making decisions involving diet and exercise, always remember to ask the advice of your personal doctor. Listening to the doctor’s recommendations is very important. Doctors will help in monitoring the condition and progress of the patient daily.
